Speaking outside 10 Downing Street in London on 16 January 2019, British Prime Minister Theresa May government survived a no-confidence vote after the rejection of Brexit deal by lawmakers. May will remain in office; however, her power recedes missing as she fights to keep Brexit on the way after lawmakers knocked down her European Union separation deal. She won a fine victory, 325 votes to 306 votes, on opposition movements looking for collapsing her government and setting off a general election. After beating the no-confidence movement, May said she would still carry on talking with opposition's leaders and lawmakers to look for a constructive way for Britain’s EU exit. She invited all opposition leaders to conduct meeting individually with her on the path forward for Brexit.
